Multilingual AI, built and evaluated.
I design and ship AI products that work across languages — Portuguese, English, Japanese — and I evaluate where meaning breaks between them.
Shipped two live AI products from zero full-stack knowledge. One is still used daily by its owner.
Based in Miyazaki, Japan · Open to remote (JST/EU/US overlap).
Continue Love — Bilingual E-Commerce Storefront
A Traditional Chinese / English jewelry storefront with shopping cart, Instagram-based order flow, and a backend order dashboard — designed end-to-end including brand voice in both languages. Built with Lovable + custom logic.

花 — 二言語対応AIバーアシスタント
Built and deployed from zero full-stack knowledge in under a month.
At a Miyazaki hotel café-bar, international guests couldn't navigate Japanese-style cocktails and staff couldn't bridge every language.
I designed, built, and deployed a bilingual (EN/JA) AI assistant: guests scanned a QR code, chatted naturally, and got drink recommendations with visual cards pulled from a live menu database.
Ran in production at the hotel café-bar (March–April 2026). No longer deployed at the venue — the working app is live below, try it.

I'm Brazilian, based in Miyazaki. I'm a geographer who works across languages — Portuguese, English, Japanese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese — and I've lived in Brazil, Japan, and Taiwan. My work has circled one thing the whole way: meaning, and the small ways it breaks between languages. That took me from translation desks to evaluating language models — writing rubrics, catching where meaning shifts — and to designing and shipping Hana, a bilingual AI assistant that ran in a real bar every night during its production window. It's also taking me back to where I started: the sea. My earliest research was on ocean governance and maritime disputes, and I'm now returning to it with a sharper question — how the values people hold for the ocean survive translation, and what gets lost when they don't. I care about the customer on the floor, the rubric on the page, and the instrument that measures what people actually value.
